Making of Public Realm From Three Recent Projects

Adjoining interior and exterior public spaces enliven Hillside Terrace. Here the sidewalk is adjacent to an internal coridor in phase VI.

In contrast to building A facing the boulevard, C is a three story office building that is located at the back of the site and maintains the residental scale of the small lane it faces.

Floating Pavillon
The pavillon cosistsof a set of abstract stage elements, covered by an ephemeral, cloud like canopy made of polyester canvas. Side benches made of perforated metal can be folded down during performances for better visibility from canalside.
