Borusan's perpetual social contribution

From the time Of its foundation Borusan has endeavored to contribute to Turkey's modernization process. We have always measured success not merely in being the best in our business pursuits, but by being exemplary citizens as well. Rooted in this conviction, we have worked continuously under the assumption that each value we create, translates into a contribution to our nation's economic and social progress. Over the years, we have been pleased with the results.

In order to achieve this goal, we established Borusan Culture and Arts (BKS) in 1997. In his article on this website, Borusan Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Ahmet Kocabıyık details our reason for founding BKS, as well as its vision and mission. The entire staff of Borusan Culture and Arts share this vision and work enthusiastically to see these efforts move forward without interruption.

All of the programs organized under the auspices of Borusan have served to strengthen both Borusan and Turkey and have been a continuous source of pride for us. These include everything from the musical excellence of the Borusan Philharmonic Orchestra and the Borusan String Quartet to our Music Library, education programs, support of the Istanbul Music Festival, the ArtCenter/İstanbul and our much praised Ertuğ & Kocabıyık Publications.

With the passion and zeal for cultural enlightenment propelling our efforts, I believe with all my heart that the days to come will see us taking each of these endeavors to new heights of excellence.
