The Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra Meets Network Elegance

According to the sponsorship agreement signed between Borusan Center for Culture and Arts and Network, which were brought together with the initiative of Z. Berhan Yılmaz, Style Advisor and Concept Designer of Borusan Orchestras, the costumes of the Borusan İstanbul Philharmonic Orchestra for the 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 concert seasons will be designed by Network. The new designs were photographed by photo artist Bennu Gerede. During the image shoot-outs conducted in the fascinating atmosphere of Aya İrini and lasted two days, the members of the Borusan İstanbul Philharmonic Orchestra were captured in their specially designed costumes by Gerede's lenses.

The costumes for the orchestra designed under the style sponsorship of Network by Turkey's foremost designers, Arzu Kaprol and Mehmet Acar, were prepared in two different models, one for regular and the other for special concerts. Special costumes for Honourary Conductor Gürer Aykal and Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Sascha Goetzel were also designed. The Borusan İstanbul Philharmonic Orchestra will reflect the harmony of classical music and style in its concerts featuring world renowned artists.
