Evelyn Glennie is a true magician of percussion and she is coming to Istanbul to join BIPO to offer a perspective of recent American music history. Any percussion instrument is a vital vein for Glennie, but she also plays the bagpipe and sports fans will remember her with her performance at the Inaugural Ceremony of 2012 London Olympic Games. Contributing to Björk’s album Telegramm is also a testament to what kind of a multi-faceted artist she is. Glennie is the embodiment of passion for music and we are sure she will inspire many in her concert with BIPO.
