Category-defying Belarussian trio Port Mone brings its unique, intricate and complex melodies, where accordion is the dominant instrument, to Borusan Music House. A darling of the East European music critics, Port Mone promises a night you will want to relive.

Port Mone was founded in Minsk, Belarus in 2006 and soon has established themselves a place in the Eastern Europe. Their debut album Dip has brought international recognition and acclaim as well as rewards. Their music is touched with classical times, rumbling artillery fire and folk music in a way that has won them the hearts of fans in Poland, Croatia and Russia. It is the musical chroniclers of contemporary history that are coming to your city. Port Mone’s music has been featured in many documentaries, animations, motion pictures and theater plays. Particularly well-known and admired in Europe, Port Mone’s music is difficult to fit into the stylistic forms as it has links to classical music, jazz, noise, experimental and folk music with accordion at its heart. Their latest album Thou, recorded in the unusual acoustic conditions in the midst of a forest, was released on Hevhetia label (Slovakia) in 2014.
