Tarabya Ensemble ve DU-YEK are at the Borusan Music House within the scope of the XJAZZ Festival.
Tarabya Ensemble is a contemporary music ensemble comprising German and Turkish musicians, who despite coming from different cultural and musical backgrounds, unite in their passion for contemporary and improvised music. It is the brainchild of Christian Thomé, who came up with the project while he was a scholar at the Tarabya Cultural Academy. The ensemble continues as an intercultural project open to musicians who come to Istanbul and to the Tarabya Cultural Academy. The opening act of the night is DU-YEK, with Deniz Mahir Kartal and Volkan İncüvez, which will give XJAZZ lovers an experience full of surprises.
