Zafer Aracagök’s project SIFIR has been making electronic/experimental music and producing albums in Turkey and abroad since 2000. The source of inspiration for SIFIR is the moment when noise turns into music, in other words, oscillations that go back and forth between having a form and no-form... SIFIR most recently came together with the audience at Borusan Music House for the launch concert of the album An Anthology of Turkish Experimental Music. For the first half of this concert, SIFIR will be accompanied by flute artist Mehmet Ali Taşlı for the remixes of classical music pieces and will appear before us in the second half with a programme including pieces from SIFIR albums and new works.
