Borusan Sanat Building

A collaboration of Borusan Sanat with Borusan Contemporary and curated by Dr. Necmi Sönmez, the “Work=Being in the World” project goes on with the screening of Héctor Zamora’s video work O Abuso da História in May and June.

Lisbon-based Mexican artist Héctor Zamora’s (1974, México City) video work O Abuso da História takes place in the courtyard of an abandoned hospital where potted plants are thrown one after another through the windows facing the courtyard. The artist defines this work he designed for an exhibition project as a “liberating action” separate from historical, social, economic and political ideology.
