Pianist Yeol Eum Son had received standing ovations at her debut concert with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra and continues to earn recognition for her extensive and distinguished repertoire as well as for her gracefulness. Soprano Jay Yang is highly admired for her renditions of the most-loved arias from the Classical and Romantic periods.
Son and Yang will be BIPO’s guests on this magnificent night when Mozart’s genius will echo in Istanbul, the city the great composer found culturally fascinating and had always wanted to visit. A selection of Mozart’s works, Piano Concerto No. 24 and the motet titled Exsultate Jubilate will be performed under the direction of BIPO’s honorary conductor Gürer Aykal.
