Viennese conductor Thomas Rösner, one of the most successful names in the music world with his concerts with orchestras such as Bamberg Symphony, Salzburg Mozarteum, Prague Philharmonic, Houston Symphony, Tokyo Symphony and Vienna Symphony, and with the Dresden, Lyon, Welsh and Paris operas, is one of the most anticipated guests of this season. Under Rösner’s direction, BIPO will accompany tenor Daniel Behle, who has received standing ovations for his lied recitals and performances on the opera stage, in this concert consisting of the works of Richard Strauss and Richard Wagner. Behle, who is also a composer, was honoured as the singer of the year with his Mozart album released in 2020 and received great acclaim for his performance in Wagner’s Lohengrin the same year.
