BIPO will be directed by world-renowned Austrian conductor Patrick Hahn for this concert, performing Cantus in Memoriam Benjamin Britten for the audience, one of the pivotal works that heralded Arvo Pärt's musical language in the late 1970s. Under the direction of Patrick Hahn, who has worked with leading European ensembles such as the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Camerata Salzburg, the Bavarian State Opera, and the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra in the last five years, BIPO will end the night’s programme with Symphony No. 3 “Eroica”, Beethoven’s brilliant depiction of heroism.
