In this concert, the rich and cinematic musical universe of Ennio Morricone comes vividly to life on stage. Morricone—the composer behind some of the most unforgettable films in cinema history, and the music that rendered many of them truly iconic—is a singular storyteller who draws the audience beyond passive listening and into the very heart of the moment. Featuring a selection of his most celebrated works, this concert brings together the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Dirk Brossé, joining forces with distinguished musicians to immerse us in those spellbinding scenes.
The Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra is conducted on this occasion by the renowned conductor and award-winning composer Dirk Brossé. Honorary Conductor of the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia and Sinfonietta Cracovia, Artistic Director of Prima La Musica, and Music Director of the World Soundtrack Academy at the Ghent Film Festival, Brossé is a regular guest with leading orchestras worldwide.
In this special programme, the evening is further enriched by the contribution of Koro Istanbul, founded in 2022 by Kübra Şenyaylar. The audience will also hear the compelling interpretation of the young soprano Nazlıcan Karakaş.
