Berlin-born singer, pianist, songwriter and composer Johanna Borchert is presenting her new album, Love or Emptiness at the Borusan Music House. Borchert displays the unity of pop and avant-garde music impressively, and was awarded “Singer of the Year” by ECHO Jazz in 2015. Considered to be in the same musical tradition with musicians such as Laurie Anderson and Björk for her meticulously arranged works, Borchert expands her horizons through electronic effects, piano improvisations, and acoustic sounds.
