BIPO Auditions for 1st Violin and 2nd Violin Tutti

Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra’s artistic director and principal conductor Sascha Goetzel will be holding audition to recruit to recruit the new first violin and the second violins sections. Auditions will be held for all violin sections, those who are successful at these auditions will be qualified to attend the orchestra's rotation auditions*. The auditions will be held for positions that will be open for the 2018-2019 season starting from January 1, 2019, and will be held on September 27, 2018 Thursday between 10.00-15.00 hours at Borusan Oto, 9.55 Hall in İstinye. Candidates who are successful at the auditions will be qualified to enter the rotation auditions to be held on September 29, 2018, Saturday, between 10.30-15.30 hours at Borusan Oto, 9.55 Hall in İstinye. Seat assignments will be determined according to the audition results.

There will be NO piano accompaniment at the auditions.

The application deadline for section viola auditions is Friday, July 20, 2018. Please note that late applications will NOT be evaluated.

* A rotation system will be implemented in our orchestra effective from 2018-2019 season. A constant change in seatings between first and second violins is planned with this system.
