Tickets For BIPO’s New Season Are Now On Sale!

A vibrant programme, distinguished conductors, acclaimed soloists, and 12 concerts...

This season, the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra (BIPO) will welcome you at the Lütfi Kırdar Asım Kocabıyık Anadolu Auditorium, a venue that commemorates Borusan Group’s Founder and Honorary President Asım Kocabıyık. On this stage, BIPO will be joined by both internationally renowned conductors and soloists as well as rising young talents.

Alongside its Honorary Conductor Gürer Aykal and Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Carlo Tenan, BIPO will share the stage with some of the most prominent names in classical music, including Christoph Eschenbach and Barbara Hannigan. In addition, Martijn Dandeviel and František Macek, two of Europe’s most promising young conductors, will appear as guest conductors this season.

Among the soloists to perform with BIPO this season are Ilya Maximov (piano), Marc Coppey (cello), Koro İstanbul under the direction of Kübra Şenyaylar, Jan Lisiecki (piano), Maria Meerovitch (piano), Omar Tomasoni (trumpet), François-Frédérick Guy (piano), Ferhat Can Büyük (piano), Daniel Hope (violin), Salih Can Gevrek (piano), Enkeleda Kamani (soprano), Deniz Uzun (mezzo-soprano), İlker Arcayürek (tenor), Li Huanhong (bass), and the Transylvania State Philharmonic Choir under the direction of Cornel Groza.
