BIPO is ever intent on premiering new or well-known works for the Istanbul audience and this concert offers you the opportunity to hear the Concerto for Piano and Violin by one of Turkey’s foremost composers, Hasan Uçarsu. The soloists are Özgür Aydın, enjoying an international career with concerts worldwide and recordings, and viola player Naoko Shimizu, the viola section leader of the Berliner Philharmoniker. Together they will perform Uçarsu new work which we believe will have a special place in the repertoire.
