Dear viewers,
Due to the increasing COVID cases, the program has been changed as a precaution in BIPO's concerts on February 3 and 17, titled Great Expactations and the Music of The Tales. You can access the new programs of our concerts via the website, and if you wish, you may change your tickets via passo.com.tr or Passo retail sales points.
Thank you for your understanding.

In this concert, BIPO invites its listeners to the century of the composer, cellist Kian Soltani will perform Shostakovich’s Violoncello Concerto No. 1. Soltani was born in Austria to a family of Persian musicians and completed his distinguished education with an Anne-Sophie Mutter scholarship. Soltani’s musicality has been described as “subtle and excellent”, and The Times describes him as “a remarkable cellist.” Soltani’s playing is characterised by a depth of expression, as well as a sense of individuality and technical mastery, making him one of the most talked-about cellists performing today. BIPO will also host guest conductor Ryan McAdams in this concert. McAdams is widely regarded as a rising star in his generation of conductors for his successful concerts and his professional approach in both orchestral and opera productions. He has worked with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra following his first concert with Florence Maggio Musicale. McAdams is the first artist to win the Sir Georg Solti Emerging Conductor Award.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR THE AUDIENCE: All our concerts will be held under Covid-19 measures. Controls for entry will be provided through the Hayat Eve Sığar (HES) application.
