BIPO will open the new season under the direction of its conductor Patrick Hahn, who has been praised in the past years. The first guest soloist of the season will be Nikolay Lugansky, in a concert that will take place under the direction of the world-famous Austrian conductor. The Russian pianist is invited by world-renowed orchestras including Deutsches Symphonie-Berlin, London Symphony Orchestra, Berliner Philarmoniker, St. Petersburg Philarmonic Ochestra and Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and is especially well known for his command of the Russian and Late Romantic Era repertoire. Lugansky will deliver yet another one of his unequalled renditions as “the most traillblazing and meteoric performer of all”, performing one of Sergei Rachmaninov’s masterpieces, Piano Concerto No. 3 at this very special night.
