BIPO will be focusing on a single composer for this concert; one of the greatest musicians of all time, the visionary, naive, playful, prolific, emotional and unique, Mozart. The conductor and pianist Maxim Emelyanychev, who has made a name for himself among the younger generation of Russian conductors with his remarkable achievements and who has further accelerated his rise by directing Mozart’s Don Giovanni, will direct BIPO at this concert. The other stars of the night will be the master piano duo Katia and Marielle Labèque, who have enchanted their listeners on almost all the major stages of the world with their recordings and concerts since the 1970s.
