Yavuz Akyazıcı stands out for his interpretation of popular songs that came out with the birth of American jazz standards as he has adapted them into Turkish songs. Until now, he has performed with musicians such as Patricia Barber, Billie Harper, Matt Wilson, Eric Person at prestigious clubs like Birdland, Knitting Factory, Smalls, 55 Bar as well as attending JVC, Baku and Charlie Parker international jazz festivals. He was a guest artist at NPR, one of the most reputable news, art and culture radios, with his album Turkish Jazz Standards that consists of Turkish pop songs of 1950s in the form of American jazz standards. He continues to perform uninterruptedly presenting pieces from his albums that include his own compositions and other songs that he played with the most renowned jazz musicians of Turkey. Akyazıcı will be joining forces with Ricardo Marenghi and Alper Yılmaz for this concerts at the Borusan Music House.
