Argüden & Olgun Duo is at Borusan Music House with its innovative projects! The duo, who see the philosophy of the concept of “free jazz” that emerged in the USA in the 1960s and their interest in the radical changes it brought to music as their common point, continue to work on various joint projects as well as original solo work.

Korhan Argüden, who is active in improvisation/free jazz stages in Turkey and abroad, and Ali Onur Olgun, who performs in İstanbul’s venues open to improvisation, met seven years ago. During this time, the duo gave concerts with esteemed musicians such as Hüseyin Ertunç, Doğan Doğusel, Çağrı Erdem, Mikko Innanen, Nick Mazarella and Simo Laihonen.

For this special concert at Borusan Music House, musician, composer, academician and jazz historian Şevket Akıncı who has been involved in many events, especially free improvisation projects, for years, Piotr Damasiewicz from Poland, who had previously performed with Argüden as part of a festival and who is known for his approach that bridges contemporary European music, free improvisation and free jazz, and Zbigniew Kozera, with whom he has collaborated on various projects, come together to create a common form of expression by using the unlimited possibilities of music.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR THE AUDIENCE: All our concerts will be held under Covid-19 measures. Controls for entry will be provided through the Hayat Eve Sığar (HES) application.
