The Borusan Children’s Choir under Gülsen Yavuzkal’s direction celebrated its 15th-anniversary last year. The choir has performed at numerous concerts as a part of national holidays, children’s festivals as well as special events and organizations. The choir greets the summer this year as every year with a concert at the Borusan Music House. Composed of children aged nine to fourteen, the choir’s repertoire consists of children’s songs from various cultures performed in their native tongues polyphonically. The choir has performed numerous concerts as a part of Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra’s seasonal concerts under conductors Sascha Goetzel and Gürer Aykal and has received praise for its successful performances.
