İKİZ CABIN CREW

On International Jazz Day, celebrated since 2011 to emphasize jazz and its role in uniting people from all over the world, İkiz Cabin Crew’s project Transit, a brand-new album released on March 4 from Stockholm Jazz Records, will be with us at Borusan Music House! This concert will be a unique experience with acoustic instruments and electronic soundscapes written by award-winning drummer İkiz and produced by all three members of the ensemble. Transit is a creative project in which the band, whose work had come to a near-standstill due to the global epidemic, starts to breathe and produce again. “Although I have missed performing in front of people, under these new circumstances, after many years of continuous travel, I found the opportunity to focus on a full-length album in a quiet space. It was fun, inspiring and a great way to take the group to the next level,” says İkiz. From “take-off” to “touchdown”, Transit is truly a journey from start to finish, and also a way of reminding us that there will be a time in the very near future when the pandemic is over that we will be able to embark on “new” journeys again...
