The heights of experimental music… Jonah Parzen-Johnson and Berke Can Özcan will perform together for the first time for Borusan Music House. Parzen-Johnson makes music that opens up different worlds to listeners with experimental electronic textures and embraces them with warm approachable melodies… His solo performances are a deeply intimate experience, as he endeavours to share who he is, how he sees our world, and the temporary moments of community where we can all embrace together. It is almost as if he “constructs a whole musical town from specific, character-driven notes.” Having performed on four continents and nine countries, Jonah Parzen-Johnson has made his presence felt everywhere from jazz festivals to noise clubs, from living rooms to contemporary art museums, and is now a guest of Borusan Music House.

Berke Can Özcan, who met with the audience of Borusan Music House last November, is on stage again! Berke Can Özcan is a drummer, composer, writer and producer who continuously experiments with everything that is audible. In his latest album, Mountains are Mountains, he invites his listeners to different soundscapes and offers them the sounds of various moments. Gongs, instruments made from a vibraphone and old keys, soda caps, bicycle bells, wicker brooms, old toys and even garden hoses… The big sounds of a seemingly small world are at Borusan Music House!
