Şevket Akıncı, Orçun Baştürk and Sumru Ağıryürüyen’s improvisational performance trio Konjo combine their accumulated experience from different genres and bands. For this concert, Konjo meets an important figure of contemporary music in Turkey, percussionist Amy Salsgiver. This is the second meeting of these four musicians after their concert in Berlin in 2014. Together with their guest Amy Salsgiver, Konjo invites you to experience a unique musical performance reaching from Middle Asian melodies to blues, from spoken word and krautrock to traditional Turkish maqams.
