Well known for their performances in contemporary music scenes of Istanbul, the percussion group sa.ne.na celebrates its 10th year anniversary at the Borusan Music House. sa.ne.na is composed of Amy Salsgiver Dorsay, Kerem Öktem and Seçil Kuran, and they will be joined by Özgü Bulut and Onur Başkurt. During these ten years, sa.ne.na brought many pieces by contemporary composers including Steve Reich, Iannis Xenakis, John Cage and Louis Andriessen to the audiences, and performed many works of Turkish composers along with their own compositions. Their musical understanding has improved, deepened and matured. On this concert night sa.ne.na will evoke wonder in their audience; warm your hearts and strengthen your faith in the new.
