The Liz is a power trio consisting of Liz Kosack, Korhan Liz Erel and Liz Albee. The trio made its debut establishing a warm connection with the audience for their improvisational performance at the KIM FEST in 2014. Following their second concert, the band decided to produce audio-visual projects that are a combination of storytelling, video art, puppetry and stage design, and thus created the “Book of Birds.” The project made its debut in 2016. “Book of Birds” is a multi-layered narrative that revolves around transformations where the musical production turns into a form of resistance. The familiar figures of the Sphinx and Oedipus from Ancient Greek mythology and the story of the Egyptian God Anubis is at the Borusan Music House.
