Patrick Hahn, who is considered to be one of the most sought-after and exciting conductors of his generation, will deliver yet another one of the unequaled renditions of the works of two great composers at this concert with BIPO, for which he has been the guest conductor for two seasons. Under the direction of Hahn, BIFO will perform Schmitt's The Tragédy of Salomé, which was also included on the CD released on the ONYX label in 2010. One of the masters of the Romantic period, Bruckner's 4th Symphony (Romantic), which is the most popular symphony after his 7th Symphony, is another of the works in the program.
