Aleksey Igudesman and Hyung-ki Joo, who have gained many fans around the world for their unique humorous style and entertaining shows, will be “serving happiness on a silver orchestral platter, where each serving of music comes with a boost of happiness that will leave you immunised against all the problems of the world” at this concert. Igudesman and Joo, who carried the close relationship between music and happiness to their shows with the duo they formed as friends while they were still conservatory students, took their place on the cheerful page of the agenda with the album You Just Have to Laugh, which they released in collaboration with John Malkovich in 2016. Watched by millions of music fans in concert halls and on YouTube, the duo, whose fans include Hans Zimmer and Billy Joel, will be on stage with award-winning percussionist and composer Lucy Landymore from Vienna, with BIPO under the direction of Sascha Goetzel.
