ABSTRA FEAT. MATTHIAS SCHUBERT

The first guest of the new year at Borusan Music House is ABSTRA! The ensemble, which is inspired by music such as avant-garde jazz, free jazz and free improvisation from within the framework of today’s new music and continues to carry out improvised music concerts featuring international guest artists, will meet the audience on January 20th with Matthias Schubert. In 2010, Gülşah Erol founded ABSTRA, which takes its name from the work written for piano by the American composer Garret Byrnes in 2006 to perform electro-acoustic music. To date, ABSTRA has met with many musicians such as Peter Brötzmann, Ab Baars, Wolter Wierbos, Jürg Solothurnmann, Andreas Kaling, Bart Maris.
