BAŞAK YAVUZ & SERDAR YILMAZ “YOKLAR”

Başak Yavuz, who has combined her architecture and restoration education with music, and director Serdar Yılmaz, who has combined his painting education with cinematic experience and stage design, are on stage with “Yoklar.” In this production prepared exclusively for Borusan Music House, Yavuz and Yılmaz explore the fluidity of interdisciplinary creations through performance and design. Setting off from how divided mankind is in today’s world, “Yoklar” tells the struggle of present-day people searching for meaning on their quest of finding the right questions to the answers they already hold. Caught between the Realm of Nothing and the Realm of Existence, aware of the pressure built upon by both sides, “Ne Var Ne Yok” sees this journey, which includes the performers and the audience, as the contradictory duty of its existence to guide us towards being honest, even during the most trying of times.
